I AM What???

It's ONLY an "I Am" Moment when you get the
fact that YOU become the Moment when you
use "I Am" before your dreams and desires.

Although the "I Am" statement has been around
a long time, since the beginning of Time in fact,
it was Kody Bateman, Visionary, Inspirational
Leader and author of "Promptings" that "Inspired"
an entire company to Speak their "I Am" precisely
and with conviction.

Who Am I?

I Am what I believe.

Therefore, I Am EVERYTHING that I want to BE.

I Am what I choose.

Therefore, I choose to Take My Own Path whatever
that may BE.

I Am a Success.

Therefore, I can teach success to anyone who
possesses successful qualities.

I Am a Teacher's Teacher

Therefore, I attract brilliant minds who want
to possess superior ability.

I Am a Thinker

Therefore, I always have an exact plan of
action and a back up just in case.

I Am a Visionary

Therefore, I see far into the unknown to
predict the predictable.

I Am Confident

Therefore, I always succeed.

I Am Inquisitive

Therefore, I'm always in the know.

I Am Truthful

Therefore, you will ALWAYS know how I feel.

I Am Irreverent

Therefore, I will ALWAYS make light of any
situation.

I Am LOYAL

Therefore, you can ALWAYS count on me to
have your back and BE everything you need me
to BE.

And...

I EXPECT the Same!!!

I Am brilliant, gorgeous, bold and ever so HUMBLE :-)

That's what makes me who I AM!!!

What's a TER???

If you are in SendOutCards, then you
know all about Treat Em Right Seminars.

But, if you're not, or if you are just
newly exposed to the SendOutCards culture,
then you might ask...

What's a Treat Em Right?

I attended my very first Treat Em Right Seminar
in September of 2005

There were 63 people in attendance and I still
remember it like it was yesterday.

It was a SPECIAL Time.

We got to meet Kody up front and close and
do some really cool things that aren't easy to
do with a large audience.

We sent a card together.

Everyone in attendance would help
create the card. It was way cool.

Back then we sent an "Unexpected Card" EVERY Day.

But, as we grew, EVERYONE started "Expecting" them,
so it changed to sending a Heartfelt card EVERYDAY.

So, now we send an "Unexpected Heartfelt" card EVERYDAY :-)

Whenever anyone receives a card that isn't expected,
it's a good day!!!

Our commonality in SendOutCards is that we ALL believe.

We ALL Believe that sending our "Thoughts of Appreciation"
is IMPORTANT.

Treat Em Rights have grown and today as many as 1,000
people have shown up to hear the story of how Kody's brother
Chris was killed in a freak electrical accident and how Kody
grieved with guilt for not having acted on a prompting to
say good bye to him when he left home to begin his career.

His loss was the prompting for SendOutCards.

That message is still the "heart" of our company and it is
experienced at the Treat Em Right.

Make it a goal to let this experience change how you live
your life.

Finding TIME

Today is the first day after Daylight Saving
and it still weighs heavy on my mind that
somewhere over the weekend, I lost an hour.

Some might say, come on, did it really impact
you that much?

Why not just go to bed an hour earlier?

I know all these things, but my inner clock
knows that it’s been fooled and it’s not ready
to play along yet.

Even though it’s Monday at 9, my brain still
thinks it’s 8 and as long as it does, it is
a constant reminder that I lost an hour.

It’s given me pause to think...

Just exactly what is an hour worth in your Life?

What did you have to give up to lose that hour?

Was it a book you didn’t get to read?

Was it a gym class you had to re-schedule?

Was it your home-based business plan
that you had to abandon?

Most people never stop for 60 seconds to see
just how long 60 minutes really is.

It’s long enough to do just about all the
things that are required to do the Basics.

In fact, 60 minutes is about the only time
that is required to consistently do something
everyday that will benefit you, your family
and your business.

It’s NOT a Lot of Time.

It just won’t work if you lose that hour
every day and don’t find a way to re-capture it.

Do you know where your Time is going?

What does “one” hour mean to you?

Honestly, do you ever wonder if you
are really on the "right course" when
every thing seems to move in 2 speeds...

Slow and Reverse?

I don't care if you are building a
business in SendOutCards or another direct sales
company, or whether you are a real estate
agent, plumber or the owner of a bookstore.

Being an Entrepreneur requires 2 basic
Truths...

It takes TIME and it takes WORK

And...

Sometimes it takes a long time
and sometimes it takes a LOT of work.

Honestly, have you ever met a "Success
Story" that really happened overnight?

Every success story I've ever read has been
about someone who wanted something really bad
and worked really hard to get it.

Every day we hear stories of these
remarkable people who are living their
dream with nothing more than "raw"
passion to fuel their trip.

How long does it take?

Honestly...

It really depends on your Dream.

Little dreams can be planted and grown
very quickly because they are small and
containable.

BIG Dreams on the other hand require a
different mindset.

They require planning.

They need BIG roots.

They need to withstand the harsh elements
and stay FIRM in their resolve.

They require consistent attention
and cultivation.

But honestly...

We all know that Dreams DO Come True.

Dream BIG or Dream Small

Just Dream again, that's All

What's Security?

There isn't a lot of it around these days
and a recent headline stating "Social Security
is on Life Support" sure put a scare in
a lot of folks who are counting on that
retirement benefit.

Security is a "Feeling" and if you don't
have it, you feel pretty rotten.

I've been an entrepreneur most of my life
and I used to feel insecure every now and
again that I might fail and that I might not
have a back up plan if I do.

Guess what?

I did fail...a LOT.

But...each failure was a lesson in what
not to do and with enough lessons, I
learned pretty quickly what to do.

With each new lesson I began to realize
that the insecurity of entrepreneurship was
frighteningly less scary than the insecurity
of having a job.

Security has undergone a re-definition and a lot of
people feel that being in control of your own economic
survival is the NEW Security.

I'm guessing that it will always be a good idea
to keep a job if you have one but beginning a
home-based business today can go a long way
in re-placing that Social Security income that
might not be so "secure" in your future.

Having MORE Security does a Heart Good.

Opportunity is Knocking at Your Door

I Have a Dream

Martin Luther King is identified with
this quote and for empowering the
world to have a Dream.

But…

Two generations later many people have misplaced
their Dream, or it has been replaced by the Nightmare
of Unemployment, Uncertainty and Unrest.

Many have been paralyzed by Fear and are
unable to re-awaken the Belief in themselves and
their ability to Make it Happen.

This is merely Stage 2 of the Grieving Process.

Anger and Fear are twin sisters and the Loss of a
Dream is like the Loss of a Child.

But…

It is possible to Dream again and even more
importantly to “Take Action” and not wait for
somebody else to make it right.

I have a Dream…

I’ve had one ever since I first saw Network Marketing
and realized that if I took control of my own life, I
might not suffer the fate of those who would be
displaced by the unknown.

I have a Dream…

A Dream to work with ONLY the BEST.

People like myself who are willing to put in the effort
to make the Dream happen.

Not everyone can, but those who do will have
accomplished something that MOST cannot.

They will LIVE their DREAM.

Do You Believe in Miracles?

I do and every now and again, I dust off
my copy of the movie "Miracle" and re-watch it
just to remind myself what can happen when
you "Believe".

Have you seen it?

It's the story of the US Hockey Team that
beat the Russians in the 1980 Olympics.

It was way back before Professional Hockey
Players took over the sport.

It was about a bunch of kids barely out
of school and how they worked together to
BEAT the Russians in an unprecedented VICTORY.

They believed they were # 1 and they played like
they were # 1 and the the Miracle happened.

The real Grit of the story is that these young men
went through grueling conditioning to prepare.

They were PUSHED to the point of exhaustion.

They had only 7 months before they would compete
against a team that had been playing together for 15 years.

No team could outlast them physically on the ice.

Team USA did!

This Monday is a Holiday in Rhode Island.

We are the ONLY state that celebrates it.

It was originally called VJ day which was

Victory over Japan.

We were kind of embarrassed that we still

celebrated it so we changed it to Victory Day.

Hey, we may have been embarrassed, but we did not want

to give up a day off :-)

In celebration of Victory Day, I'd like to "Challenge"

you all to "achieve" your own personal VICTORY.

Whatever it may be...Today is YOUR Time.

Oh, thanks for asking...

Talking about myself is my FAVORITE thing and
since this blog is about ME, I guess talking about my
FAVORITE things is permitted.

I have LOTS of "Favorite Things", soooo many in fact, that
I decided to start a Blog just to "Share" them.

I've been known most of my life as the gal with
the BIG Mouth, so I guess you could say that it's
"Cosmic" that my FAVORITE Moment was a
"Moment of Silence".

That's me, standing in front of a room of almost 1,000
people totally SILENT!!!

That's Right...For One Full Minute, I said ABSOLUTELY Nothing.

Silence was my way of letting my audience feel what
"Indifference" is.

I HATE Indifference. In fact, it's probably the ONLY thing
in the whole world that I hate.

Even prejudice can be combated, but "Indifference" is
nothingness and that is "Intolerable".

But, this is NOT about what I hate, but about what
I like, so here goes...

I like PEOPLE who make a REAL Difference.

I like an OPPORTUNITY that presents "Real" Opportunity.

I like MONEY and the Limitless "Opportunity" it affords me.

I like BOOKS that teach the Truth.

I like SPACE to Breath, to Think and to Create.

I LOVE Chocolate and if the Chocolate is Ice Cream then it's 2 times as good.

I Always TEACH "Things" in 2's because it's EASIER to Remember.

My Weight Loss Mantra is...

It's Never to Late to be a Size 8, but until then, I'll take a 10 :-)

Did you know that 10 is the Magical Number of INCREASE???

It must be true because every time I get down to a Size 10,
I start "Increasing" again!!!
