It's Insane

It's Insane how many people are in #LOVE with mobile apps
and how easy they can make your life.

I had to learn this from my young friends.

These are the young folks I attract into my life so that I can
stay current and "in the know" of what's really important to
know about social media.

Well, that is of course if your want to stay relevant to the upcoming
generation of change makers.

We live in an uncertain world especially with respect to opportunities
because some of them don't even exist yet.

Look at Uber.

And, then THINK about this.

Mark Cuban said NO to investing in Uber.

Which means that even Smart, Smart people make HUGE Mistakes
when it comes to Investing in what is Important and Relevant with
regard to our future business models.

A LOT of people said NO to SendOutCards when I first started
sharing it 10 years ago.

But...

ALL that changed when business professionals began championing
it's Relationship Building prowess and how it made them just feel good
while making them "Stand Out" from everyone else.

So, How monumental might an Opportunity be that let's
average folks make MONEY with their Smartphones
marketing a mobile app that everyone is crazy about???

What if that mobile app allowed everyone who owned a
Smartphone to make LOTS of Extra Money over the HOLIDAYS
for their kids and grandkids or their Favorite Charity???  :-)

It's Insane how many people we can help to make a real difference.

It's Insane how many folks would #LOVE an EXTRA $200 - $500 a month.

It's Insane how EASY that is.

Please text me if you'd like to be part of the Insanity we are Creating.

Memories of Mom

My mom burnt everything.

We would laugh about it because my mom always seemed
to burn only "one side" of everything.

Whenever we sat down to dinner, all 7 of us kids would immediately
pick up our food to look at the bottom of what she cooked.

You see my mom, who complained that she didn't have time to cook
with 7 kids in tow, would turn over every item on the plate so that we
did NOT see the burnt side

This was no small feat when serving french fries.

She's NOT here this Mother's Day.

She passed just a few weeks ago after a long, long, long
imprisonment in Alzheimer's.

She didn't remember she was a Mom for at least the last 5 years
which for her must have been the hardest memory to lose.

Every day is a GIFT and for that we should ALWAYS be Grateful
because…

We NEVER known "What" will be our "Last Memory".

No Time

It's no secret that Time is elusive and no man or
woman can truly take ownership of it's Un-TIME-liness.

What do I mean by that???

Well, "Time certainly waits for no man" and on April 26th
of last year my brother Joe Lost his Long-Time Battle with
Cancer and his Time on this earth came to an abrupt end.

It was a sad Time especially for his wife and young children
who had only recently both become engaged and were praying
for their Dad to be around for their weddings.

Lousy Timing my Dad would have said.

But...

This is NOT a story about NOT having enough Time to say Good-byes.

It's More of a story about Un-TIME-liness.

It's a story about NOT having enough Time to Remember.

It's was a very difficult Time last year for our Family.

Just minutes before we learned of my brother's fate, we were
burdened with the sadness of our sister's illness and ultimately
her Un-TIME-ly passing.

In between "Death Scenes" we LOST our mom and there was
really NO Time to Remember her either.

So, It's About TIME that we got around to Remembering.

This week marks the one year passing of my brother Joe.

He was a REMARKABLE man who believed in GOD, his Family
and his ability to make other's "feel good".

He worked Hard and had GREAT Passion for EVERYTHING he did.

He left a HUGE hole in the hearts of many and a year later we
still feel his absence amongst us even though he continues to make
his presence known.

Time and Time again I remember my final moments with him and
in those fleeting memories I feel his presence so strongly.

It's Time to Let you know my Friend that you were the BEST
brother, BEST husband and BEST dad to ALL who Loved you
and I will always Remember that.

Until I see you next Time on the other side.

She WON

Last week I lost my sister Jane.

She died because Cancer was "running" faster
than she was and as an "Athlete" she understood
the meaning of not winning the race.

Not Winning the Race really has nothing to do
with Losing.

So, to say that she Lost her Battle to Cancer
is really a LIE.

Jane NEVER had a chance to Beat Cancer.

In fact, she wasn't ever really waging a war against it.

Jane's ONLY Fight was for her Opportunity to Live
and to Run her own Race with Dignity.

And...

To that end she WON.

She endured radiation that ravaged her body and
chemo that destroyed her beautiful hair and still she
managed to brave the hardest challenge of hearing that
the enemy had never left but only retreated long enough
to command a strong finish.

She was a CHAMPION.

Janie Mullen will always stand for POWER with Grace.

She was a FORCE that was so Subtle that it's Impact
will Ripple throughout Eternity.

She WON the Life she wanted.

A Life of many, many Friends who were touched by her
Spirit and whose lives will Forever be BETTER because
she did.

God Bless You Janie Mullen...

You Will ALWAYS be a Light in our Lives.
