That's pretty much what the #FriendsOfJane had in mind when
they decided to send cards to Sandra.
Who's Sandra???
Sandra is my sister Jane's chemo nurse and my sister Jane really
#LOVES her chemo nurse because she helps make having an
Ugly, Ugly thing like chemo therapy bearable for the folks who
must undergo it.
There is a POWERLESSNESS that exists when someone you care
about is a Slave to this Way of Life and the ONLY thing that ever
seems to HELP is reaching out to others in Kindness as an
expression of #Love for that friend.
People seem to become BETTER people when they Express
themselves in a Heartfelt way.
The #FriendsOfJane contributed to the cards and gifts that
were sent in many ways.
Some with their artwork. Some with their donations. Some
with their Time.
The Spirit of Generosity was AMAZING.
We have opened the Group to the Public in the hopes that
Ideas will begin to take shape and many, many people can
be BLESSED by the Power of Kindness.

Showing Up Differently
Is it Time???
Now that January is over and New Year's Resolutions have
been completely abandoned, isn't "It Time" to sit down and
do a real assessment of what's really not working and
change it???
That's basically what I had to do last year when I woke up
one morning and realized that nothing FIT.
And...I'm not talking just about my clothes.
Nothing in my life was "Fitting" quite the way it should
and somewhere deep down inside I knew that EVERYTHING
that wasn't working right was a result of my own body image.
Since 2009 I had easily gained 10 lbs. per year and I refused to
buy another piece of clothing that was over a size 12.
Proving that pain is the biggest motivator, I made a
commitment on January 1, 2013 to "Show Up Differently"
by Christmas.
I set a goal to lose 50 lbs. in one year.
This Christmas I gave myself that Gift.
Although the scale shows only a 40 lb. drop, my clothes tell me
it might be even a little more?
There is nothing that feels as good as putting on clothes that
zip up easily without a muffin top popping out somewhere.
There's a confidence that goes with the feeling of LEAN.
For me it's not important to be a fashion model and have six pack abs.
What is IMPORTANT is knowing I look great in my clothes and
that when I enter a room people look up and take notice.
I have always BELIEVED that MONEY is Attracted to Confidence
and that CONFIDENCE is Impossible without an aligning body image.
I'm looking forward with much EXCITEMENT at 2014.
More to come......
